I have two novels available this year: The Starfish, a drama-romance, and Weeping Willow, a suspence-romance. Both novels are set in Ontario, Canada. The Starfish is my debut novel and took three years to write. I co-wrote Weeping Willow with my sister, Abigail Smith, over a one-year period, while The Starfish was in its final stage of revisions.
Dakota Reilly was fourteen when she lost her virginity.
It wasn't romantic in the slightest. If anything, it was a basic case of statutory rape--but she would never call it that. It was much more comfortable to tweak the memory here, twist it a little there, until it really did seem sexy and romantic to recall . . . Now a successful florist, Dakota is used to going from one gorgeous man to the next. In fact, she prefers it that way. Until she meets Jason Sinclair. He is not interested in a fling or a one-night-stand and try as she might, she is unable to seduce him. But there is something compelling about this man, something worth seeking. And in the course of getting to know both him and his disabled sister, she begins to question her outlook and lifestyle, realizing there is a longing in her heart that cannot be filled with casual sex. When a gruesome loss shakes her very foundation, she discovers a treasure hidden in the pages of ancient history, and a love she never dreamed could exist. Watch for A White Rose, early 2009. Thanks for visiting my website. Welcome!
Currently, I have two projects on the go. One is a suspense-romance taking place on the Island of balmy Bermuda. It will explore the issues of addiction, violence and divorce. The other is the first book of three-book romance series. I hope to release book one, A White Rose, early 2009.
