“If you like mysteries, I would recommend Weeping Willow for sure.”
Dear Reader

Currently, I have one completed fiction manuscript: A White Rose. And just for fun, I co-wrote and self-published Weeping Willow (a suspence-romance) with my sister, Abigail Smith. Both novels are set in Ontario, Canada.

A White RoseSynopsis for A White Rose:

(contemporary/women's fiction - 90,000 words)

Dakota Reilly was fourteen when she lost her virginity. It wasn't romantic in the slightest. If anything, it was a basic case of statutory rape, but she'd never call it that. It was much more comfortable to tweak the memory here, twist it a little there, until it really did seem sexy and romantic to recall . . .

Now a successful florist with her own flower shop business, Dakota is used to going from one hunky man to the next. She prefers it that way. That is, until she meets Jason Sinclair. Unlike the others, he isn't interested in a fling or a one-night-stand, and try as she might, she is unable to seduce him. But there's something compelling about this man, something worth seeking. In the course of getting to know both him and his disabled sister, Dakota begins to question her outlook and lifestyle; realizing there's a longing in her heart that cannot be filled with casual sex. When a gruesome loss shakes her very foundation, she discovers a treasure hidden in the pages of ancient history, and a love she never knew could exist.

I've also begun two new projects which are in the preliminary stages of planning. One is a suspense-romance set on the balmy island of Bermuda, which will explore the issues of addiction (pornography, drugs) and divorce. The other is the second of my "Lily of the Valley" series (of which A White Rose is book one). Book two will follow the parallel lives of two individuals incapacitated by suffering. One blossoms and finds healing while the other digresses into bitterness.
