About the Author

Hello and welcome! 🙂 I’m Bekah Ferguson: an old-soul fiction writer who lives in Ontario, Canada, with my husband and three teens.

I love spooky, magical, thought-provoking stories, fairytales, and folklore.

Most recently, I’ve written a fairytale novella called, “A Boy From Anywhere” – available free on Wattpad.

The story takes place in Ontario, Canada, in the late 1800s. It features British Home Children and the French-Canadian legend of the Loup-garou (a.k.a werewolf).

I’ve written an on-going mini-series called Canadian Folklore & Ghost Stories which features re-tellings of legends from across the provinces. To augment the series for non-readers, my husband and I produce YouTube video versions of these same tales, and I also simply read them aloud on TikTok and Instagram.

I write original short stories as well, in a variety of genres (fantasy, speculative, paranormal, historical, sci-fi, and fables).

I’m the author of When the Fog Cleared (romance) and co-author of The Attic (fantasy suspense).

You can follow me on Wattpad, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Goodreads, and YouTube.

Hopefully you’ll enjoy my stories, and if you do, I’d sure love to hear from you. 😊 Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hi I liked your thoughts on anxiety. I’m a guy so feels weird being minority for anxiety. I want to get off pills but first maybe I can master the thoughts that bring the anxiety. Maybe I’ll check out your fantasy book.

  2. Hi Bekah,

    I hope you’re well.

I recently came across your blog, and I just wanted to say how much I’m looking forward to diving into your articles.

I run a podcast called Pieces of History, where I share both well-known and lesser-told stories from the past. One of my latest episodes explores the fascinating legend of the Trinity Street Ghost – a ghostly tale that has intrigued many over the years. I recently came across this story during firsthand research at the Central Library in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It seems to have been overlooked by academics – I even reached out to a few, and none had ever heard of it. The haunting of Trinity Street in Belfast, which took place in 1932, is a captivating and lesser-known piece of local history, filled with strange occurrences and eerie events that have left a lasting impact on the city’s folklore. Given your interest in history, I thought it might be something you’d enjoy.

    I hope you enjoy.

    Best wishes,
